Week 24: Homework

Hello Second Grade Parents! We had a wonderful week last week! Here is a look at what we did… In language arts we looked at different ways to make connections to a text. We read the books Alexander, Who Used to Be Rich Last Sunday, and Each Kindness. We also looked at nouns and subject verb agreement in a sentence. The students also practiced their letter writing skills and wrote a happy birthday letter to Mrs. Martinez.   In social studies, we examined innovations that came from westward expansion and reviewed magnets. In math, we are continuing our unit on subtraction.
